SUPERBOWL

Way to go SAINTS! I love it when a new team wins the Superbowl! We had a great time watching the game, and Tess liked The Who performance. It has been so nice to see the sun come out (except for today) and have some nice weather. We went to Wheeler Farm today and watched the geese which was fun, it will be even better when it's warmer. School is going well, work going well, and Tess is growing up faster than we want her to! Summer is just around the bend. This is a picture of tess in the dryer, WITH THE DOOR OPEN and the dryer OFF. I promise, if one of you turns me in for this, I'll have your head. She had fun and watched me pull the sheets out of the washer. We're headed back up to Alta in a few weeks to enjoy the sun and the Oyster Shuck, and Allen is thinking about getting some skiing in, if the make boots his size. Tess and I plan to enjoy ourselves and play in the snow.

Sunday

We got out of the yucky weather yesterday and had fun with Francine and Drew in Alta. The sun was out, it was about 40 degrees and wonderful! Tess had a great time, and enjoyed some new food. She tried avocado, bread, butter, sour cream and a lime. The food was so good and we had fun together. It's cloudy and smoggy again today, we can hardly see. We headed to church, but it was too crowded and there were no seats! So, next week we're going earlier. I have tomorrow off, so we're cleaning the house today so Allen can study and Tess and I can just enjoy the day.

January 15

Thank goodness for 4 day weekends! Time to hang out and R E L A X. . . .

Apparently we have the worst air quality in the nation! YUCK! But, spring is coming, and I have chicken nuggets in the oven, so life is good. Tess just got out of the bath....

Tess and I played with the camera as the sun was setting today, trying to get the perfect lighting. Needless to say, 150 pictures later, there are quite a few good ones. The sun did come out today, finally, which was nice. There's about 8 inches of snow on the ground and it looks cloudy in the mountains, so tomorrow will probably be another cold day.

Allen's been sick for a week with the flu and every other kucky virus out there. Too bad...
